Viktigt meddelande från IFA

Corinne McKenzie, Internationella Finnjolleförbundet, skriver så här i mail daterat 5 januari 2019:
"Dear sailors / coaches
Extreme weather has hit the coast of Marsala recently causing great damage to the 2019 Europeans host club.
We are discussing at present with the club the possibility to maintain the championship or to cancel and look for an alternative venue in Italy. We are asking you to put your travelling plans on hold until further notice.

We expect to give you concrete details early next week.

Kind Regards
Corinne McKenzie

We begin 2019 with a heavy heart and an immense task ahead of us – how to maintain and enrich the health of our beloved class in the light of the news from November that we might no longer have a place in the Olympic programme for 2024.
